Aquatic Bucket List

1) See The Silent Evolution - Jason deCaires Taylor - Mexico

These statues are found on the ocean floor of the crystal clear waters off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. Made by British sculptor, Jason deCaires Taylor, not only is this installation fascinating to look at, but they serve as an artificial reef attracting tonnes of aquatic life!

2) Swim in Jellyfish Lake - Eil Malk island in Palau

This marine lake located on one of the rocky uninhabited islands in the south lagoon of Palau has millions of golden jellyfish migrating horizontally across the lake daily.

3) Stroll the Glowing Shore - Maldives

Found at Vaadhoo, in the Maldives, this almost alien natural phenomenon occurs when
a chemical reaction called bioluminescence takes place. This happens when the plankton in the sea become disturbed by oxygen. Although a rare sight, it more commonly seen when the sea is in wake of ships.

4) Fish in the Azores - Portugese Islands, Azores

I have a cousin with a house here and he keeps inviting me to go. He's shown me loads of photos of the fish he's caught. It looks absolutely amazing... Full of colour and tropical fish, seems like a little over-looked paradise.

5) Shanghai Ocean Aquarium - China

This aquarium looks absolutely phenomenal, and I've been to some good aquariums. The aquarium features a 120-meter long tunnel going through a costal reef, coral reef, the open ocean, shark cove and a kelp cove. I can't think of a better place to see the underwater life.

Here's a song I can't stop listening today:

Keepin' it real,

Francis
